It rests heavy on my nose causing discomfort.

Tighten the side adjustment straps so that it is not loose. Then tighten the top strap until the headset is no longer resting on your nose.

The center view is not facing forward.

Hold the N button to reset the horizontal center view the display. The vertical plane is maintained automatically by the sensors within the device. If you are in Theater and would like to lock in the video irrespective of the direction you are facing, point to the big screen and the click "OK" on the headset.

The videos load slowly.

If you are viewing preloaded content in Theatre or Pano, the servers do not current have enough bandwidth to North America. We are currently working on a fix for this issue with a North American mirror. You should not experience any lag with apps and content from the Google Play store streamed from North America. This device uses 2.4GHz WiFi which may be affected by interference of weak signals on the band from microwaves, DECT phones, and crowded environments.

Installing applications is difficult.

You can install applications to the VR headset remotely. First log into your Google account on the headset. Then go to the Google Play Apps website to install them remotely to your headset. They will show up on the main apps menu.

I see black borders on the sides.

The lens in this unit was selected to minimize the screen door effect. You can reduce the black borders by scrolling the top knob for lens adjustment to make the lens-to-screen distance as small as possible. Depending on the distance of your eyes-to-lens distance, you may still see a border. If you would like another set of lens that minimizes the borders but increase the screen door effect, please contact our support team with your order number.

I cannot find anything to watch or play.

Android VR Content

64GB/128GB MicroSD card does not show up.

MicroSD cards larger than 32GB are formatted as exFAT by default. exFAT is a Microsoft standard that requires licensing. You have to reformat the MicroSD card as NTFS for it to be supported by the headset. Be careful as you will lose all of the data on the card during the reformat. MicroSD cards have partition tables (MBR or GPT) and partitions with file systems (FAT16 FAT32 exFAT NTFS ext4 etc) just like hard drives. Android is based on Linux and the supported filesystems controlled at the compile time of the Linux kernel. The Linux kernel compiled for the headset supports FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, ext3, and ext4 file systems since they do not require licenses. FAT16 file system can be up to 4GB in size. FAT32 file system can be up to 32GB in size. NTFS file system can be up to 16EB. ext3 file system can be up to 4TB. ext4 file system can be up to 1EB. Windows cannot read or write to ext3/4 filesystems.
